The Grand Adventure - The Last Laugh
I. God remains faithful to his plans and promises, even when they seem impossible.
1. Genesis 17:15-21
II. Time and circumstances wear down our trust in God.
1. When we try to “help” God, we don’t fulfill his plan; we complicate our lives.
2. Genesis 18:9-15
III. When the wait is long, our heads tell us God’s promises are impossible.
1. Biblical faith is always a mixture of head and heart.
2. Genesis 21:1-7
IV. God is never boxed in by time, circumstances, or the laws of nature.
1. Head - rejecting miracles is a faith choice; not a scientific one.
2. Heart - miracles aren’t a suspension of the real world; but a restoration of it.
V. Place your trust in the ultimate miracle - resurrection of Jesus Christ!
